Duoverse is pleased to announce its participation in the TERATEC Forum 2026, Europe's leading event dedicated to simulation, high-performance computing (HPC), artificial intelligence and quantum technologies. On Wednesday, October 21, Angelo Pasquale, CTO & Co-founder of Duoverse, will deliver a joint presentation with Armand Albergel, Deputy Managing Director of SUEZ ARIA Technologies, during the workshop "Smart Cities and Regions: The Role of AI, from Models to the Frontiers of Physics and High-Performance Computing."

Their presentation, "Urban Digital Tools: From Atmospheric Physics to Operational Smart City Management," will explore how decades of expertise in atmospheric modelling are being combined with physics-based simulation, HPC and hybrid AI to deliver operational decision-support tools for cities and critical infrastructure. The session will demonstrate how surrogate AI models can dramatically accelerate complex CFD simulations while preserving the physical consistency required for engineering and public-sector applications.

Drawing on recent work carried out within the DesCartes Program and deployments across major international metropolitan areas, the presentation will showcase applications including urban wind modelling, pollutant dispersion, environmental risk assessment, CBRNE scenarios and climate resilience. It will also discuss the role of cloud and HPC infrastructures in democratizing access to advanced environmental modelling for local authorities, infrastructure operators and public decision-makers.
