Onetwin: A Real-Time Digital Twin for Safer and More Resilient Ports

Duoverse has been selected as one of the finalist projects for the 10th Port du Futur Innovation Awards, organized by Cerema in partnership with the French Ministry for Transport (DGITM), Cluster Maritime Français, Fédération Nationale des Agences d’Urbanisme (FNAU), Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique, Pôle Mer Méditerranée and Ports de France. The awards highlight innovative solutions contributing to the performance, competitiveness and safety of ports.

Duoverse will present Onetwin, its hybrid digital twin platform designed to help ports anticipate environmental and industrial risks in real time. By combining physics-based predictive models, frugal AI and real-time data, Onetwin enables port operators to visualize, simulate and anticipate complex physical phenomena—from pollutant dispersion in air and water to accidental releases and changing environmental conditions.

Designed to complement existing GIS and digital infrastructure, Onetwin transforms complex simulations into operational decision-support tools. Port stakeholders can rapidly explore scenarios, assess the potential consequences of an incident, optimize operations and strengthen emergency preparedness and infrastructure resilience.

The finalist projects will be presented during the 16th Assises Port du Futur, taking place on 23–24 September 2026 in Strasbourg, in partnership with the Port of Strasbourg. This year's edition will focus on “Ports, cross-border spaces: challenges and cooperation dynamics for a stronger Europe”, bringing together the port ecosystem around operational challenges, innovation and future strategies.
