After several years of research within the DesCartes Program, Duoverse officially emerged as a deeptech company dedicated to developing the next generation of AI-enhanced digital twins.
Led by CNRS@CREATE in Singapore, the DesCartes Program has brought together experts in computational physics, artificial intelligence and urban sciences to tackle some of today's most complex environmental and industrial challenges. Its objective has been to create digital twins capable of accurately representing complex physical phenomena such as urban wind, temperature distribution and pollutant dispersion.
While high-fidelity numerical simulations provide exceptional accuracy, they often require significant computational resources. Duoverse builds upon this research by combining advanced physics-based modelling with hybrid artificial intelligence, dramatically reducing computation times while preserving scientific reliability.
The result is a platform capable of delivering operational digital twins for industries, infrastructure operators and public authorities. From optimizing industrial assets to supporting climate-resilient cities, these AI-enhanced models provide fast, explainable and reliable predictions that help decision-makers better understand complex systems.
The creation of Duoverse marks an important milestone in technology transfer, demonstrating how cutting-edge academic research can evolve into practical solutions addressing real-world engineering and environmental challenges.
