From 25 to 27 March 2025, Duoverse joined CNRS@CREATE and the DesCartes Program at the Singapore Maritime Institute (SMI) booth during Singapore Maritime Week, one of Asia's leading maritime events gathering more than 20,000 participants from Singapore and around the world.

For the first time, the DesCartes Augmented Hybrid Twin incorporated Singapore's open-water areas, extending its high-resolution environmental simulation capabilities from the city to its maritime environment. Visitors could explore how changing wind and atmospheric conditions influence air pollution and environmental phenomena across both port and urban areas.

The demonstration illustrated the potential of combining physics-based simulation, artificial intelligence and operational data to support new maritime applications—from environmental monitoring and port operations to risk assessment and resilience. Among the visitors were senior Singaporean representatives, including Peet Meng Lau, Permanent Secretary for Transport, and Prof. Chorh Chuan Tan, Permanent Secretary for National Research and Development.

Duoverse's Victor Champaney and Daniele Di Lorenzo joined the DesCartes research team to present the technology to maritime experts throughout the event. The participation highlighted the strong continuity between research developed within DesCartes and Duoverse's ambition to transform hybrid digital twins into operational solutions for ports, infrastructure and complex industrial environments.
