From 28 to 30 April 2026, Duoverse participated in the Milipol TechX Summit (MTX) in Singapore, alongside CNRS@CREATE and the DesCartes Program, showcasing technologies designed to transform complex physical simulations into operational decision-support tools for emergency response.

Hosted at the HTX (Home Team Science and Technology Agency) exhibition booth, the demonstration presented the Future Urban Dispersion Simulation and Validation Exercise, developed within DesCartes in collaboration with HTX. The technology combines high-fidelity physical modelling with AI surrogate models to dramatically accelerate the simulation of chemical dispersion in complex urban environments, opening the way to near real-time crisis assessment.

The demonstration illustrated how changes in environmental conditions—including wind speed and direction—can be integrated into a physics-augmented digital twin to rapidly anticipate the evolution of an incident and support emergency response decisions. The project also includes field validation using local wind and atmospheric measurements to strengthen the models for operational deployment in Singapore.

The event also welcomed Sim Ann, Singapore's Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Home Affairs, and Jean-Didier Berger, French Minister Delegate, who were introduced to the DesCartes real-time emergency response capabilities by Prof. Francisco Chinesta, Director of the DesCartes Program and Duoverse Scientific Advisor.

For Duoverse, Milipol TechX provided another opportunity to demonstrate how research developed within CNRS@CREATE and DesCartes can transition into operational digital twin technologies, supporting applications ranging from CBRNE risk and pollutant dispersion to infrastructure protection and urban resilience.
